National Events Center was established by a decision of the Council of Ministers on Rajab 15, 1441 AH, corresponding to March 10, 2020. It is located in Riyadh. It’s a legal entity that enjoys financial and administrative independence.
National Events Center aims to strengthen the events sector in the Kingdom, improve the services provided in this sector and support the Saudi Seasons in accordance with the directions and instructions laid down by the CEDA Events Committee.
- Proposing draft laws and regulations related to the Center ‘s competencies.
- Preparing and implementing partnerships and agreements in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
- Improving spending efficiency of the events sector.
- Conducting studies and research related to the Center ‘s competencies.
- Using local and international talents specialized in the activities of the Center.
In addition, it standardizes the procurement mechanism and approves budgets and spending methods of these budgets.
