Event Pioneers Program

My experience was unique; it was an enriching and highly rewarding journey, and I feel very fortunate to be part of the program. I have learned many valuable things throughout the program. However, I can categorize them into practical experience and knowledge-based experience. These can be gained by delving deeper into the events sector, working closely with the team, and acquiring hands-on experience.

My experience in the Event Pioneers program was exceptional and rich with benefits. I learned a lot about time management, effective communication, and teamwork. The experience also enhanced my self-confidence, innovation skills, and creative thinking. We gained valuable knowledge from the program, including event management, visitor experience, and financial management for events. Additionally, the courses provided by EHL were highly practical and beneficial, offering us deep insights into the hospitality industry. We learned about global best practices and how to apply them in our local environment.

An enriching and enjoyable experience at the same time, where we learned a lot and it helped us start our professional lives in a better way. We learned many things, starting with how to discover our passion and align it with our goals. We also learned about innovation from one of the world’s best universities, MIT, took a course in financial analysis, and finally received a training course in event management, provided by one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious universities in hospitality, EHL. What I liked most was that the courses and curricula offered to us were innovative and diverse, which helped us gain deep insights into the event industry and understand this promising sector better.

An enriching and excellent experience, as the trainee works in their field while also receiving courses in various disciplines alongside their specialization. I have gained awareness and a clear understanding of how to manage an event and the fundamental principles I should be familiar with. Throughout the year, there are continuous courses in addition to a project that contributes to and enhances the center’s values. One of the key elements in the Event Pioneers program is innovation.

It was a unique and insightful experience—one of the most valuable experiences that added significant value to my professional journey in the events and entertainment industry. Through the program, I gained diverse expertise in the job market and benefited from the experiences and advice of distinguished experts in the field, in addition to building a valuable professional network. The graduation project was my favorite activity, as it strengthened teamwork and communication with colleagues from different specialties, resulting in an outstanding practical project that can be implemented at the National Events Center.

My experience in the Event Pioneers program was incredibly enriching and felt like a transformative shift on all levels—whether in knowledge, practical experience, or skills. The diversity of training programs offered to the pioneers, along with the trust given to us in the workplace, made us feel a strong sense of responsibility. Hold on tightly to the opportunities granted to you during the Event Pioneers program, as this year will equip you with unique experiences, skills, and expertise.
