The National Events Center (NEC) organized a workshop titled “Designing the Visitor Journey in Events and Seasons,” with the participation of around 60 male and female students from King Saud University, represented by the College of Tourism and Archaeology. This initiative comes as part of NEC efforts to enhance knowledge and develop the skills of national talent within the events sector.
The workshop addressed the latest behaviors and advanced standards in visitor experience, contributing to improving the quality of services provided at events and seasons, enhancing visitor satisfaction, and elevating the overall experience.
The session also featured practical applications aimed at raising students’ awareness of the importance of visitor experience, in addition to engaging them in hands-on training on designing a comprehensive visitor journey for events thereby strengthening their professional readiness for the events sector.
Furthermore, the workshop included an exchange of expertise between the NEC visitor experience staff members and the students, answering their questions related to the events sector, and offering practical advice to help develop their skills and prepare them for the job market.
This workshop reflects the Center’s ongoing efforts to empower national talents and strengthen collaboration with educational institutions, contributing to the development of the events sector and enhancing its level of professionalism.
This initiative aligns with the National Events Center’s broader mission to advance the events ecosystem in the Kingdom by empowering national talent, fostering integration with educational entities, and delivering training and awareness programs ultimately enhancing the quality of experiences offered across events and seasons.
