The National Events Center, in collaboration with the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk), has announced the launch of applications for the “Event Pioneers” program, aimed at attracting and training recent Saudi graduates across eight key fields within the events sector.
The program seeks to create sustainable employment opportunities for young men and women, while developing national talent to play a vital role in the future of Saudi Arabia’s rapidly growing and expanding events industry.
The Center stated that the employment-linked “Event Pioneers” program will begin accepting applications starting April 27. Participants will undergo a full year of training in partnership with Qiddiya Company and the Aseer Region Development Authority, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 goals to empower youth and build a vibrant society and thriving economy.
The program targets graduates from disciplines related to the events sector, including event content, protocol, visitor experience, marketing and communications, event management, event operations, crowd management, and safety and security management. Participants will receive intensive, hands-on training across various departments within the sector, aimed at enhancing their skills and preparing them to contribute to the industry’s future.
The National Events Center emphasized that the program is part of its broader efforts to support the sector by qualifying and empowering national talent to drive its development. It aligns with Vision 2030 objectives focused on human capital development, strengthening local content, and creating sustainable job opportunities for Saudi youth. The program will deliver training in collaboration with leading international and local institutes, ensuring a comprehensive experience that meets market needs.
The “Event Pioneers” program is designed to prepare the next generation of leaders in Saudi Arabia’s events industry by providing practical training and specialized knowledge. It aims to enhance professional skills, prepare participants for career challenges, guide career paths, attract talent, and advance the sector overall.
