The National Events Center launched a new initiative to train 150 organizers working at the “Little Asia” event zone in Jeddah on first aid principles and healthcare practices through the “Assef” training program.
The initiative aims to expand the trainees’ skills and capabilities in providing first aid services during emergencies, contributing to the development and qualification of national talents in fields supporting the Kingdom’s events sector.
The program seeks to equip organizers with practical skills that enable them to respond effectively to emergencies, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), treatment of various types of bleeding, handling medical and environmental emergencies, and disaster management, all delivered by a team of experienced professional trainers.
At the conclusion of the training program, the Center awards participants certificates and badge cards recognizing them as certified first aid responders accredited by ECSI (Emergency Care & Safety Institute), a widely recognized certification confirming successful completion of a comprehensive first aid training program.
The National Events Center continues to make significant efforts in supporting all segments of society and strengthening its role in social responsibility through education and training initiatives by empowering youth talents to shape a distinguished future for the events industry.
