The National Events Center (NEC), in cooperation with the Saudi Club for Portfolio Management, hosted a workshop titled “Project Management Fundamentals” at its headquarters in Riyadh. The workshop addressed several topics and recommendations related to projects and project management methodologies, aimed at enriching the knowledge of NEC employees.
The Saudi Club for Portfolio Management presented key concepts and fundamentals of project management and discussed solutions for addressing emerging developments in projects across various fields. The workshop also reviewed the stages of project management, from planning and scope definition to schedule and cost management, as well as the project charter and the importance of the Change Control Committee.
The workshop also addressed the management of projects, programs, and project portfolios to achieve organizational objectives, in addition to other topics related to the field.
Established in 2021, the Saudi Club for Portfolio Management is a national volunteer club that brings together a distinguished group of Saudi professionals and experts specializing in portfolio management and related fields.
The workshop is part of the National Events Center’s efforts to promote and adopt best practices that support the development of competencies and expertise, in line with its aspirations to advance the events sector across various fields and achieve its national objectives
