Since its establishment in 2020, the National Events Center has successfully advanced the Kingdom’s events sector across entertainment, sports, tourism, and cultural fields, contributing to the creation of a vibrant and thriving society. This has been achieved by facilitating and organizing participation for individuals and companies, whether through idea generation, service provision, or event execution.
The Center has also enhanced the services provided to the events sector through continuous innovation and sustainable development, aiming to maximize economic and social returns while ensuring the sector’s long-term sustainability and supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Alongside its diverse mandates and ongoing efforts to improve the regulatory environment for business within the events sector, the National Events Center has placed Saudi society—across all segments—at the forefront of its priorities. This reflects its commitment to social responsibility and its role in supporting local community development.
Guided by a clear social responsibility strategy focused on improving quality of life and developing young national talent, the Center has identified three main pillars to achieve its objectives. The first pillar focuses on education and training, with an emphasis on youth empowerment. Through this, the Center has delivered more than 55,000 on-the-job training hours as part of the second edition of the Event Pioneers program, contributing to shaping the future of the events sector and supporting the national economy by empowering entrepreneurs and creating job opportunities.
The second pillar involves collaboration with charitable organizations on environmental and sustainability initiatives, in coordination with partners and relevant entities, to preserve environmental health and raise public awareness. It also includes initiatives supporting the elderly and persons with disabilities. The third pillar focuses on hosting families of martyrs, injured individuals, and orphans, and providing them access to various events. These two pillars have involved the participation of around 22 government entities, centers, charitable associations, and care institutions, benefiting more than 4,000 individuals to date.
The National Events Center continues to make significant efforts in supporting all segments of society and strengthening its role in social responsibility, contributing to the development of the sector across its various fields and enhancing its capabilities to achieve national objectives.
In conjunction with the Kingdom’s celebration of Saudi Social Responsibility Day, observed annually on March 23, the Center is participating in this occasion to highlight its impactful contributions and achievements in this field, while raising public awareness of the importance of social responsibility and reinforcing its values within the events sector.
