In line with the Kingdom’s rapid development and its continuous efforts to enhance the well-being of society, the National Events Center officially commenced its operations following the Council of Ministers’ decision issued on March 10, 2020, establishing the Center as the responsible developer and enabler of the events sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia across entertainment, sports, tourism, and cultural fields.
The Center aims to ensure the delivery of attractive events, celebrations, and seasons that cater to visitors from within and outside the Kingdom in a more comprehensive and advanced manner.
The National Events Center seeks to strengthen the events sector in the Kingdom, elevate the quality of services provided within the industry, and support Saudi Seasons. It also works toward improving spending efficiency in the events sector and establishing partnerships and agreements in collaboration with relevant entities to achieve the Center’s objectives.
In addition, the Center is responsible for proposing laws and regulations, conducting studies and research related to its areas of specialization, and leveraging both local and international expertise in its fields of work to support the achievement of its strategic goals.
The establishment of the National Events Center represents a major step accompanied by accelerated efforts toward creating an ideal experience for citizens through the development of events that enhance societal well-being and elevate quality of life across the Kingdom, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
