The National Events Center continues its remarkable journey of achievements, marking five years since its establishment and reaffirming its role in transforming the Kingdom into a leading global destination for the events sector through impactful initiatives that have contributed to economic and social development in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Since its establishment in 2020, the Center has been committed to creating exceptional experiences aimed at advancing the events sector across the Kingdom and supporting Saudi Seasons and major events, driven by its mission to build and grow a promising industry.
Through the Saudi Events Platform initiative, the Center succeeded in increasing public awareness and enabling partners to reach wider audiences through a centralized platform. The platform witnessed significant engagement from visitors and users, while the “Matloob” platform provided a direct channel for individuals seeking seasonal or temporary job opportunities, attracting a large number of registrants.
In the area of human capital development, the Center launched the “Events Pioneers” Program to qualify national talents in key event-related fields and connect them with employment opportunities. In addition, the establishment of “Enjz” as a unified digital platform contributed to streamlining licensing and service procedures through collaboration with government and private entities, supporting the successful delivery of multiple seasons and events.
Among the Center’s most prominent initiatives is the EventTech initiative, which aims to explore innovative digital technologies within the events sector. The initiative witnessed broad participation from across the Kingdom, bringing together leading experts and specialists in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship, while also supporting startups and attracting the interest of prominent investors in the field.
The National Events Center reaffirms its commitment to continuing the development of a sustainable and innovative events sector that supports the national economy and advances digital innovation within the Kingdom’s events industry through integrated efforts between government entities and the private sector.
