The National Events Center participated as a supporting sponsor in the “Giving to Seniors” initiative, organized by the Saudi Society for Supporting Elderly People (Waqar) at King Salman Social Center in Riyadh.
The initiative was launched under the patronage of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. As part of its participation, the Center distributed gifts to senior citizens, fostering a spirit of engagement and support between the Center and the elderly through an initiative aimed at celebrating and supporting senior citizens, instilling the values of volunteerism, and encouraging communication and the exchange of experiences between generations.
The National Events Center’s participation as a supporting sponsor aligns with its social responsibility strategy, which focuses on enhancing quality of life and developing national talents within the sector. The Center places significant emphasis on supporting senior citizens and people with disabilities, alongside its efforts in collaborating with charitable organizations, promoting education and training, empowering youth talents, and coordinating with partners and relevant entities to preserve environmental health and safety while raising public awareness of its importance. In addition, the Center supports families of martyrs, injured individuals, and orphans by providing them with access to various events and activities.
The National Events Center continues to make significant efforts in supporting all segments of society and strengthening its role in social responsibility, contributing to the development of the third sector across its various fields and enhancing its capabilities to achieve national objectives. This comes in conjunction with the Kingdom’s celebration of the Saudi Social Responsibility Day, observed annually on March 23, through which the Center contributes to raising public awareness about the importance of social responsibility and reinforcing its values within the events sector.
